Located at 5 Me Linh Square, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC, Vietcombank Tower office building owns a prime location in the heart of the city, area of exchanging business partnerships, sightseeing and trading with foreigners.
The project was invested by LD Limited Vietcombank - Bonday – Benthanh company with 3 joint partners: Vietcombank, Bonday investment group (Hong Kong) and HCMC Services and Trade joint stock Company (Setracorp). The construction started in late October-2013, Vietcombank Tower project completed in March-2015. By June-2015 Ministry of Construction, Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department and HCMC Natural Resources and Environment Department has inspected and approved for putting into use.
Vietcombank Tower has modern architecture with international standards, designed by famous designer from America: Pelli Clarke Pelli Architect – who has designed many world-famous office buildings, financial centers such as the World Financial Center in Hong Kong, the Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia, the Bank of America’s Headquaters in North Carolina.
With 35 floors, 4 basements, including podiums and rectangular block, Vietcombank Tower was designed with the goal of maximizing the usable space and demonstrated modern, strong architecture, powerful than nearby buildings, also to reflect the influential stature and sustainability of bank services and properous business.
Besides the massive appearance, Vietcombank Tower building was designed according to architectural of environment friendly standards, surrounded by glass wall to catch the natural light with open ground to save energy.
By October-2015, the occupancy rate of the building has reached 85% after only a few months in operation, with famous corporations such as:Vietnam Brewery Limited Company (owns two big brands Heineken and Tiger), Vietnam Shiseido Company, Russin & Vecchi Law Company Law, Pernod Ricard Company, Vietnam Johnson & Johnson Company, Phu Quoc Petroleum Company, Gas Pipeline Project & Gas Processing Plant Lot B - O Mon Management Company (key national projects) and many other leading companies.

Reportedly, Vietcombank Tower selected to install Mitsubishi elevator with NexWay high speed up to 300m/min, directly imported and synchronized from Japan, South Korea. This cooperation is in the goal of meeting international quality and safety standards, which build up Mitsubishi's worldwide reputation. In addition, with 1600-2000KG capicity, using two parallel control panel placed in the cabin room and interior combines of inox wall with wooden material give the user comfortable feeling when moving through 39 floors. Besides the elevator, the building is also equipped with Mitsubishi escalators in Vietcombank office blocks to save time and improve the effectiveness of banking services.
