On 8th July 2014, Mr. Sakuyama – Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Group, one of the leading enterprises in Japan, visited Vietnam Mitsubishi Elevator Company (VMEC). Accompanying with the chairman Sakuyama wass Mr. Hagiwara Sakuyama, CEO of Asia Pacific Mitsubishi Electric and Mr. Seki, CEO of Vietnam Mitsubishi Electric Company.
During this visit, the chairman Sakuyama spent time speaking to all VMEC employees The Chairman reminded two messages: "Changes for development" and "Changes and innovation are challenges and opportunities". The chairman also expressed his desire to support Vietnam development through the providing of “infrastructure systems for the society", "energy system, the environment"... in which Mitsubishi Group acted as "a pioneer enterprise in global environment protection issues”. In addition, the Chairman also acknowledged and thanked VMEC contributions in recent years.
At the same day, Chairman Sakuyama visited other Mitsubishi Electric subsidiaries in Viet Nam.
