In the last days of year, though everybody was all hurried with remaining tasks and activities, year-end party (YEP) of VMEC company was held at Eastin Grand Saigon Hotel on 29th Jan 2016 with the participation of all managers and employees. This was to welcome New Year 2016 together as general rule of our company and enjoyed the eager environment, precipitately preparation of families in the whole country.
The opening performance was quite exciting with two songs dedicatedly describe about traditional taste of Chinese New Year season: "Như Hoa Mùa Xuân" (As beauty as flowers on Spring) and "Hạnh Phúc Xuân Ngời" (Spring brings happiness). It was presented by a group of staff from various departments. The performance was exactly the result from “extra-curricular” of singing, dancing practice of young members, with our simple desire to contribute morẹ joy for the party. With the meaningful lyrics about Tet atmosphere; and the colorful, elegant Ao dai – Vietnam traditional dress, this performance, as spring breeze, brought warmth to the party, to those away from home.
At the moment when the past year was nearly making an end and a new year was coming, we became more touched when being rewarded in the Outstanding Staff Award of the year, and in other sports competition contexts. It was speechless to describe our feeling at the moment. Our contribution during the past year has been recognized. Happiness and strong motivation for the long road ahead was seen in the eyes and on the bright faces of the talents. We perceived the desire and determination than ever to drive us running continuously for higher goals and achievement.
The most impressive session was an Ao Dai fashion show presented by employees from Sales department, Administration department, Maintenance department... Especially, our senior managers also sang together with all staffs a cute Japanese song named Sekai Ni Hitotsu Dake No Hana and a Vietnamese song named Ngay Tet Que Em. Music, with its own charm, has connected all people closer and closer.
As part of the Japanese culture, a comedy performed by the two Japanese comedians has lighted up our smiles and time. Besides bringing excitement for the party, this performance gave us a chance to understand more about Japanese satiric performing arts on the stage.
In order to express gratitude for the contribution of all employees during the past growing year, apart from employee awards, there was a lucky draw program so that everyone could bring home the meaningful prizes for a forthcoming new year.
